Team Nunavut — Arctic Winter Games 2026.

Project overview.

Melicaa Management Consulting provided project management and program coordination services to support Team Nunavut’s participation in the 2026 Arctic Winter Games. The engagement helped deliver a coordinated and well-prepared territorial team for one of Canada’s premier multi-sport events.

Melicaa led planning, procurement, logistics, governance, and stakeholder coordination in close collaboration with the Government of Nunavut and the Team Nunavut Sport Operations Manager. This included oversight of schedules, operational readiness, and coordination across athletes, coaches, and Territorial Sport Organizations.

• Managed project risks, issues, dependencies, and change control
• Coordinated stakeholders and ensured alignment across planning and delivery activities
• Chaired coordination meetings and provided structured reporting to GN leadership and the Games Steering Committee

The impact.

Melicaa provided structured project management, governance, and coordination that helped Team Nunavut achieve operational readiness and successfully participate in the 2026 Arctic Winter Games. Melicaa also developed a comprehensive Games Operations Plan documenting governance, processes, and lessons-learned to support future Team Nunavut delegations.
